⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had dinner at Universal Joint in downtown Chattanooga and loved everything about it! We went on a Thursday around 5:30 and were seated right away. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, and the food came out fast. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was delicious, but the real star of the night was the tater tots—crispy, golden perfection. My daughter raved about the fish tacos, and the whole table couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. The drink menu has some great options, and the atmosphere is awesome—set in what looks like an old gas/service station with cool, laid-back vibes. It’s the kind of place that feels casual but still special, whether you’re out with friends, family, or on a casual date night. Prices are really reasonable for the quality, too. If you’re in Chattanooga, this spot is a must-try. Be sure to check out the patio when the weather’s nice—it’s the perfect hangout spot. Car shop turned eclectic burger joint! If you are looking for relaxed, fast service this is your place. Dog friendly large patio makes it great for a weekend chill location.

We had a delightful time and the drinks were impressive. The atmosphere was a bit loud, but the music playlist was exactly what I preferred. The server provided outstanding service. We will definitely return during our next trip to town.
